People can’t appreciate what they don’t comprehend.
They simply can't; but you shouldn't blame them for their inability to understand or see things in the context of a bigger picture.
And the concept applies to almost every single aspect of our lives (work, home, friends, relationships, politics,...). I can go on and on with examples and applications but I thought I'd leave it as it is for now. Hopefully I will get the chance to discuss each aspect separately.
But meanwhile, and before you flip over someone else's actions or reactions to the things you say or do, remember that people can’t appreciate what they don’t comprehend, so make sure they understand what you are talking about first.

I'm Back!
Well, it's been over 5 years since I created this account and quite frankly never made the time to neither post nor follow throughout that period; even though I meant to do so at several occasions. I can give you a thousand excuses for not doing so but I only have one solid reason for coming back (with a little help from a friend) and that would be to publish my first official "quote".
It's actually a thought that came to me lately, and despite the fact that it may sound lame to some, it's actually something that has never been said before. So I'm going to post it next and will try my best to elaborate as much as I can as it's definitely something that we can all relate to.
